Hello Friends!

Hi Everyone,
I can't believe over two weeks has gone by since I posted on my blog. It has been a whirlwind of activity and that's a good thing! Cardiac Rehab and PT have given me  a kick in the pants. I'm glad I've been participating in both programs, but, goodness...I can't believe how tired I am. Well, as one of my friends told me..."put your big girl panties on and get going!"

I've been doing some picture taking and card making, but first an update on my garden! It has been absolutely beautiful this spring. My perennials and bushes are doing well. Here's a few pictures to show you what has been growing:

McIntosh Apple Tree

McIntosh Apple Blossoms

Old Fashion Iris

Wild Columbine

Snowball Bush

Aren't they pretty? Oh there's more but I don't want to bore you with all that's in my garden.

Now, to talk about all the cards I've been making with the Stampin' UP! new products.

Made with the Ronald McDonald's set: Sprinkles of Life & Tree Builder Punch

This set is so cute! Cupcakes, ice cream, trees, clouds and many cute verses are available in the set. I always buy the Ronald McDonald set each year because Stampin' UP! donates $3.00 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC keeps families together when their children are receiving medical treatment away from home. I used the new In Colors for all of these cards...the paper and inks are so beautiful!

Friendly Wishes and Bow Builder Punch

I love this card, it's so bright and cheery! These verses are just right for all those special people in your life. I used Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Whisper White along with the new 6 x 6 DS Cherry On Top paper. This is one of my favorite cards, so far! I also used the In Color Stampin' UP! Marker, Watermelon Wonder.

I can't wait to show you some of these products at the next Stamp Camp on Saturday, June 13th. We will have a lot of fun and if you come to Stamp Camp, you'll receive a new catalog for this year.

Hope to see you soon,

Gloria's Stamp Camp Fun!

Hello Everyone,

It's been a fantastic week at my house because I'm feeling better and better! I've been honored twice, once with my "Tea" that was given to me by the hospital I retired from, and then with Mother's Day! Not only was I honored at both events, but, I also got a chance to get back into providing Stamp Camps at my house! Below, you'll see what we did at camp. I love having friends over, it makes me happy. We had a great time making the cards below. I hope you'll join us in June (Saturday, June 13th) for Stamp Camp...I have some creative surprises for you and we'll be using some of Stampin' Up!'s new catalog products. Also, if you come to Stamp Camp, you'll receive a free Stampin' UP! catalog!

May Stamp Camp Projects

Not only have I been making cards and scrapbooking, again, but I've been keeping track of the garden. This is our crabapple tree in the back yard. It has been beautiful this year! The birds have been flocking to it and I have a robin's nest in the tree, but I don't think you can see it in this picture.

Crabapple Tree

During the end of April and beginning of May, the Orioles have been loving the tree and tasting the sweet nectar from the flowers. We don't see Orioles at any other time of the year since they are migrating to their summer home and passing through Michigan. They are a beautiful bird and we look forward to seeing them each year. It's a sure sign of spring for us and even though the weather is still fickle in Michigan, I know we'll have warm weather soon.

Well I hope you have a fantastic day and I look forward to writing the blog later in the week to let you know what I've been doing.

Take care,

From the Garden

From the Garden inspired by Kristin Frattin at

I like to look at other blogs to get ideas for my cards and Kristin Frattin did a 3-D gum package that was so cute that I had to try to make a card from her idea. I didn't used the same material that she had on her original because I didn't have the lace and such. Plus, I added the fern to give it a bit more background. I was struggling with the lace part, but found some left overs that I had from another project to use. It came out OK, but, I'm going to make another one, once I get some Stampin' UP! lace. I used the From the Garden (137139) set and Handpicked Framelits (137361) along with the Butterfly Basics set! I colored the leaves & flowers using Wild Wasabi, Hello Honey and Crushed Curry. I stamped the fern with Wild Wasabi and the accents in Marina Mist. I used Memento Black as the first stamp of the flowers.

I can't wait to show you the NEW STAMPIN' UP! catalog, we aren't supposed to post anything right now, but, let me tell you it is packed full of great ideas and products for you to make tons of different items. I love the new In Colors, they're brighter than I thought, and can't wait to get my hands on them. Also speaking of the catalog, those that host a party or attend Stamp Camp will get a catalog FREE as soon as I can get them. I'll order the catalogs and some of the sneak peak items on May 5th, so I should have them by the end of the month.

The next Stamp Camp is Saturday May 9th, the AM camp is 9 AM-12 Noon and the PM camp is 1 PM-4 PM. Please RSVP by Thursday, May 7th!

Now, for an update on the garden...the plant kind not the paper kind.

The Periwinkle is so pretty, huh?

Hosta is sprouting fast!

And guess who I'm baby sitting this week?

Yes, that's Max, King Max, to me, he's so spoiled!

He's really fuzzy right now, and do you see those fangs...he'll scare anyone off the porch! The only problem, he's only about 8 pounds. Did you notice he's lounging on a pillow on my desk!

Well, I hope I made you laugh today!

See you soon,
